Project Background
Aon in Ireland is a leading professional services firm providing specialised risk management, insurance brokerage, reinsurance brokerage, and human capital solutions, with offices in Dublin, Cork, Mullingar, and Belfast. AON wanted to measure Merger and Acquisition activities of organisations in Ireland.
Methodology
iReach has built a Panel of over 9,000 members of Business Decision makers. The Panel represents almost 3,000 small to mid-sized SMEs (<50), over 3,000 small to mid-sized SMEs (51 to 150 employees) and 2,000 Larger SMEs (151 to 250 employees). The remainder are split over Enterprise (250+) and Public Sector Organisations.
iReach use a hybrid research method for all surveys of our Business Decision Makers, where we telephone them first and then offer the choice of completing the survey online or over the phone.
Insights
iReach surveyed Business Decision Makers responsible for investment decisions including strategic investments in mergers and acquisitions. Over 300 responses to the survey were completed and this scale allowed for the Analysis of results by Company Size and Industry sectors, highlighting differences in perspectives and potential investments across each.
